About H.A.S.
H.A.S. Marketing was incorporated in 1969, and has been producing custom logo promotional merchandise ever since. In the early years, H.A.S. was primarily a manufacturer of advertising buttons. However, it soon became apparent, that the client required additional custom imprinted products, and H.A.S. adapted and offered the customer merchandise which H.A.S. did not manufacture.
As the demand for certain core product increased, H.A.S. found it necessary to again adapt, and invested in additional plant and equipment to enable in-house production of screen printed wearables, magnets, mousepads, memo boards, and custom die cut buttons.
In 1985, McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada approached H.A.S, with a requirement to Canadianize the McDonald’s U.S.A. promotional merchandise catalogue and offer the program to the Canadian system. And H.A.S. was shortly thereafter in the Company Store business.
The most recent Company evolution has been the early adoption of in-house digital print technology. Clients increasingly asked for quicker production times, full color as opposed to 1-2 color imprints, and immediate proofing. Due to the limitations of offset print technology, H.A.S.’s offset printing department was unable to adapt to the changing marketplace, and a decision was made to invest in an in-house digital print operation. Today, H.A.S. is cutting edge and into a 4th generation system. Client demands are being exceeded, and new uses and products based on digital print technology are constantly being created, innovated, and then offered to the industry.
